Los Angeles - On Saturday July 14, the Pilgrim Presbyterian Church in Los Angeles held a retreat with students from nearby universities. The Pilgrim's collegiate summer retreat is planned annually to reach new college students, and is open to anyone who is interested in the Bible or has questions about Christianity. The program includes lectures, outdoor activities, praise night, and Bible games.
During the retreat, the Parable of Rich Man and Lazarus was shared in the passages from Luke 16. Retreat participants then broke into smaller groups and discussed different topics students face in college life. Lastly, several participants shared their testimonies to the entire group.
One student shared, "I believe that God has planned and guided me to come to this retreat. I look forward to maturing in faith and living out the Gospel in my college life."
