WEA: World Refugee Sunday on June 17 and 24

The World Evangelical Alliance (WEA) together with the Refugee Highway Partnership (RHP) encourages churches around the world to participate in this year’s World Refugee Sunday on two Sundays of June 17 and 24, 2012. “Refugees seek for protection and acceptance to build their life, but in reality they often experience social exclusion, largely by being ignored, marginalised or barred by country borders,” the RHP writes.
